Continuation..history of tobaco part 2

Today I am going to continue about the history of tobacco so there we go part 2...Christopher Columbus is the first sailor who got the tobacco plants as a gift from the American Indians and after then only the rest of the sailors brought it back to Europe and tobacco plant was grown well all over Europe. The tobacco plants was growing very well all over Europe because the people there had the same believes just like the American Indians. They believed that tobacco cures all types of sicknesses. Such as cancers, and so on...

Tobacco was also used as money back in the 1600's. It was as valuable as the gold!! So now we know how much it was valued back then, but nowadays it is not the same as more values are given for the cigarettes which contains tobacco as the main ingredient. And people nowadays do not use tobacco plants for curing any types of illness as they are more into modern medications. So basically the tobacco plant travelled to one country and another through the sailors and that is how it reached Malaysia as well. So I'm signing off now and will be up with a new title tomorrow..brand new one...that is all for now hope to hear more and more comments..

Once again you've posted something really informative and new to me.. Each time I visit your blog space I tend to learn new things and that as a result increases my knowledge on tobacco and stuff. I was less aware that tobacco plants was used to cure diseases once upon a time as I only assumed that all this while it only brings harm to us and all..Great work once again and full credit given yet again..
